Wisin y Yandel are a pair of reggaeton artists from Cayey Puerto Rico, some of their hits include "Mayor Que Yo" "Noche de sexo" featuring Aventura "Shaved" "Llama Pa 'Verte (Bailando Sexy)" and "La Gitana" Wisin y Yandel were also featured on R. Kelly album TP-3: Reloaded on Track # 14 "Burn It Up"

In November 2002 they release their third album titled The Otra Manera since it assumed the album got them their fifth gold album One year later they released their follow-up called Mi Vida
In 2004, both countries have decided to take a break and go solo Yandel recorded quien contra mi while Wisin released El Sobreviviente It later became a smash hit with guest stars such as Daddy Yankee andAlexis y Fido
In 2005 they released their latest album titled Pa'l Mundo They appear in the new CD Daddy Yankee Barrio Fino en directo
In 2006 an album called Pa'l Mundo Deluxe Edition will be released June 16
